How Needle Valves Work
Needle valves regulate fluid flow using a tapered, needle-shaped plunger (or stem) that moves in and out of a small, machined seat. As the valve handle is turned, fine threads move the needle to gradually restrict or open the orifice, allowing for accurate flow control.
Threading System
A key feature of a needle valve is its fine-threaded stem that converts rotational motion into precise linear movement. When you turn the handle, the threaded connection advances or retracts the stem in small, controlled increments.
